Wheel alignment is more than just a technical service; it’s an art of precision, ensuring that your journey is smooth, fuel-efficient, and safe. Over time, regular wear and tear, coupled with those unexpected jolts from potholes or curbs, can throw your vehicle’s wheels out of alignment. Misaligned wheels can lead to numerous challenges, from uneven tire wear to a vehicle that pulls to one side, compromising both performance and safety.
Here at Auto Trust in Stettler, AB, our dedicated team utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and expertise to deliver impeccable wheel alignment services. We are committed to ensuring that every vehicle leaving our facility does so with wheels that are perfectly aligned, offering drivers in Stettler the peace of mind and confidence they deserve on the road. Whether you’re drifting while driving, noticing irregular tire patterns, or simply due for a check-up, trust Auto Trust to set things straight.
Wheel alignment refers to the adjustment of a vehicle’s suspension components to affect the angles of the tires and their contact with the road. This isn’t about adjusting the tires themselves but the angles they take due to the vehicle’s suspension. Key terms include:
Camber: The inward or outward angle of the tire when viewed from the front. Too much inward or outward tilt indicates camber misalignment. Having as much of the tire in contact with the ground is good for even tire wear.
Toe: Refers to whether the fronts of the tires are closer (toe-in) or further apart (toe-out) than the backs of the tires.
Caster: This angle involves the pivot point from the vehicle’s steering to its suspension. A positive caster enhances stability, while a negative one improves steering ease.
Misaligned tires can be quite problematic, causing a number of difficulties. Recognizing signs of misalignment early can save you from further complications:
Uneven Tire Wear: If tires are wearing differently, especially on one edge, it’s a clear sign of misalignment.
Vehicle Pulling: If your vehicle pulls to one side or feels unstable on straight roads, this indicates a need for alignment.
Steering Wheel is Off-Center: If the steering wheel isn’t centered when driving straight, there’s likely an alignment issue.
Vibrating Steering Wheel: Often due to unbalanced tires or misalignment causing tires to pull in opposing directions. This can make your ride quite uncomfortable but also be harmful for your vehicle.
If you feel or witness any of these issues with your car, don’t hesitate. You should get in contact with a representative at Auto Trust as soon as possible to have a wheel alignment done.
Our wheel alignment process at Auto Trust isn’t just about adjusting the angles; it’s about ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, our technicians first analyze the current alignment against manufacturer specifications. They then adjust the vehicle’s suspension components, ensuring that your car drives straight and reduces excessive tire wear.
This meticulous process ensures you get the most value from the wheel alignment cost. Our technicians have expansive experience in wheel alignments and are able to do it with incredible efficiency. Trust us to have your wheels aligned correctly and to keep your ride comfortable.
Proper wheel alignment has a number of benefits that cannot be undermined. Some of them include:
Extended Tire Lifespan: Proper alignment minimizes uneven tire wear, ensuring you get the maximum lifespan out of your tires.
Improved Fuel Economy: Misaligned tires can increase rolling resistance, making the engine work harder and consuming more fuel. Proper alignment can enhance fuel economy.
Safer Driving Experience: Aligned wheels mean better road grip and handling, reducing risks associated with vehicle pulling or vibrating steering.
Cost Savings: With the tires and suspension components wearing evenly, you’ll face fewer replacement costs in the long run.
Driving with a bad wheel alignment is not just about uneven tire wear. It implies other problems and can cause further issues.
Safety Concerns: Misalignment can compromise handling, especially when avoiding road debris or during sudden maneuvers.
Increased Repair Costs: Beyond the tires, misalignment can strain other vehicle parts, like the brakes and suspension components.
Decreased Fuel Efficiency: As mentioned, the increased drag on misaligned tires can dent your vehicle’s fuel economy.
Given these risks, experts recommend getting the alignment checked every 10,000 kilometers or at least twice a year.

I had such a great experience with Auto Trust in Stettler. I was booked in for Friday morning and they were able to diagnose and fix my car all in the same day, which was already amazing. What really stood out though was how they went above and beyond, the weather was bad and I had all my kids home, so they actually delivered my vehicle right to my door. That kind of service is rare.
Throughout the whole process they talked me through everything clearly and never made me feel pressured. They genuinely tried to find me the best deals on the parts needed and took the time to explain everything so thoroughly. Their kindness and patience made a stressful situation feel easy.
It truly has that special small town feel where you feel taken care of and not just like another customer. They make you feel at home and they get the job done right. I’m so grateful for their help and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing honest, reliable service.
This is probably the most honest garage around. They are always fair with pricing. They support local business and staff and ownership are great.
Really knowledgeable, personable, and reasonably priced work! Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Stettler.

My car battery died this morning. Bought a new one at "Canada's Auto Store" only to be told they couldn't replace the old one for two days. I appealed to their common sense, but it had already left the building! Drove to AutoTrust, who had done great work for me last year, and they said, "No problem!" Turned out the battery I bought from that other place was NOT compatible with my car, so AutoTrust sourced a correct one and I was back on the road in just over three hours, lunch time included! Great job, folks. You are my go-to auto shop forever more!

AutoTrust has been the place where my family has always gotten our auto issues fixed. Super friendly and communicative team. I ask a lot of little questions and the receptionist always answers with joy. It’s not just a team but a family and that is shown through their work. They work till they find the issue. Their team is quick, proficient and always listening to your worries and concerns. They provide loaner vehicles which leaves no worries for how you’ll get from A to B whilst having work done. Highly recommend AutoTrust to anyone!

Brad and his staff are always very friendly, helpful and efficient in getting my vehicle needs taken care of. Whenever I have called, they have been able to get my vehicles in and repair them in a timely fashion, a few times under the original quote. I trust them to take care of with my vehicles in the same why I would personally. No new damage (scratches or minor dings) you find when you get it back home, like I have had with other shops.
Great friendly service
